Simon and his team worked on an extension to our bungalow and total refit work internally. They were a great team of tradesmen with the builders in particular being lovely to work with and always tidy and concensious in their work. After completing our bathroom renovations in January 2015 Simon and his team went on to build our garden extension, replacing a life expired conservatory and potting shed. Firstly, his quote was his quote and there were no hidden extra charges; secondly they were always on time, cheerful and very hard workers; thirdly they were full of sensible advice and quickly found solutions to problems; fourthly their standard of workmanship was very high; fifthly whilst buIlding works inevitably create a degree of mess they were always careful to clear up after themselves, and their "builders' yard" only took up a very small part of the garden; and lastly they have left us with a brilliant extension which we will hopefully enjoy for many years to come. I am writing this approximately three months after they finished and so far there has been only one small item of snagging which was dealt with very quickly and without fuss.
I don't hesitate to recommend them.

Simon and his team recently widened our drive access for us, demolishing and then partially rebuilding a section of a dry stone wall, and laying brick paving. We are really pleased with the finished driveway and glad we followed Simon's advice on brick colours. The front of the property has been transformed. Highly recommended.

Simon and his team gutted and replaced our family bathroom and separately an en-suite shower In January 2015. They were on time, worked to a high standard and were on budget. We were impressed with their hard work and the way that Simon dovetailed the various trades to ensure the project was completed quickly. Simon McKeown and his team put a central heating system into our barn conversion in 2013. First up they provided a comprehensive and very competitive quote - and took the time to talk us through the details of it.
They were hardworking and polite and the project took eight weeks.
They were respectful of our space and of our things and made sure that the rooms were left tidy and dust free at the end of each day.
When we ran into a few unexpected structural challenges (such as no insulation, leaking roof, damp back walls) they immediately came up with options and alternatives which did not break the bank.
